It sure looked like there were as many take out orders as patrons seated. We’ve only visited this location for lunch. Only in Japan have I found the same freshness and price for a chirashi lunch and don’t forget the hamachi or salmon collars. You’re served 2-3 collars (depending on the size) with miso soup, ponzu sauce, plain white rice & hot tea for $8.95. My wife’s all-time favorite is to order the grilled. Visualize a 6-inch Japanese lacquer bowl filled with sushi rice and topped with at least 3 different types of fish, shrimp, scallops, real crab meat, unagi & tamago….all for $14.95 + miso soup + hot tea! Musashi’s definitely knows their Japanese and we will be back again. The side salad was so tasty with a creamy mix with crab. The pieces of unagi were meaty and tender with a sweet sauce that enhanced the flavors. The unadon also was a substantial serving of rice and slices of broiled unagi. I could each a bowl every week and not go broke compared to many other restaurants. Rounding out the bowl was two small scallops, a shrimp and two pieces of grilled unagi covered in flying fish roe. The flavor of the sear on the albacore was unique and delicious. Inside our container was a generous portion of rice topped with four large pieces each of salmon, hamachi, ahi and seared albacore tuna. The Chirashi Bowl was the best value and quality we’ve enjoyed in awhile. They were efficient without sacrificing food quality. From the time we placed our order to its hand off we waited less than 15 minutes. This location only accepts cash so keep this in mind before you go. The storefront was also small, no indoor dining and were fulfilling many to. Musashi’s located in a strip mall at the end so it was not so obvious when we pulled into the lot. We came here for an early dinner and was not disappointed. Restaurants with Outdoor Seating in Bellevue.
